Shayne Yonce

President

Sure, I have certifications, experience in the field, and I work with technologies in various industries, but I thought I would take a moment to let you know a bit about me. I was born and raised here in Wichita, Kansas and knew that I would in some way be involved with electronics after I received an Atari 2600 game console over Christmas during my 4th grade year. I touched my first real computer, an Apple II+ in a 5th grade summer school class and that pretty much set the stage for my future. I graduated from Northwest High School in 1989, and completed my degree from Wichita State University in 1995, receiving a Bachelor of General Studies with emphasis in Computer Science, Communication, and Business Administration. I have worked in various aspects of the electronics industry to include retail, wholesale, and technical support environments. Various work assignments I have engaged in over the years include Radio Shack, California Sound (A local high-end mobile electronics retailer), National Computer Resource(Computer Retail/Service), and IET Electronics Technology (Computer Wholesale). Before starting my current IT solutions business as The Technology Specialist in early 2007, I had a bittersweet experience of operating my own retail store, Christian Dimension, Inc. (CDI), which operated from 1999 through 2006. I have learned a lot over the years and found that what I enjoy most is building strong relationships with everyone I work with and watching businesses transform as they incorporate technologies that improve their efficiencies and effectiveness. I feel very blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love and desire to continue doing so.

I am a father to four wonderful children and have been happily married for over 12 years. I met my wife while on the job and have been extremely blessed to receive her ongoing support. We have experienced many peaks and valleys both from a personal and a business perspective and continue to work at it every day. We are also thankful for the support of many who pray for and support our family with love and encouragement.

Please feel free to email me if you have any questions whatsoever or would like more information about how our company can help yours. Thank you for your business and most importantly, your friendship.

Stephen Lee

Senior Engineer

As a hobbyist, I feel like I've been doing this "stuff" forever. As a professional, I'm fortunate to be in an industry that I enjoy and feel passionate about. As a kid, I always wanted to know what, how, and why things worked the way they did. To keep me from destroying perfectly good stuff, my parents would ask friends and family members to bring me their broken electronics. I had a lot of fun learning what made all those things work, but the real excitement came around 1982 when my Dad came home with a Commodore 64 home computer. That single event probably changed my life more than any other. I now had a device that I could make do almost anything I wanted. I was completely hooked and at the age of 11, I started to learn how to program. The first program I wrote was an address book that my Dad could use to store all of his business contacts. I started college with the idea of going into Criminal Justice and pursued that path during most of my general requirements. Initially I was reluctant about turning my hobby into a career for fear that I would lose the passion. Later I realized how lucky I was to have a career path that I actually enjoyed and looked forward to working in, so I switched to Computer Science. I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. I recently remarried in June 2011 and between us we have 6 children. My oldest son is currently living in Georgia with a friend. Our other children all live at home. I enjoy spending time with my wife and the kids; doing anything from riding bikes, to playing rock band, or just watching a movie. I personally enjoy riding my motorcycle, taking the kids to the park, going to the lake, or just messing around on the computer. I'm never bored, as there is always something to do.

Ed Norfleet

Field Technician - Contract

I have 30 years experience in various forms of electronic technologies. In the early 1980s I worked as a news photographer at the ABC and CBS affiliates in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I shot news for a few years and then worked in the commercial production department for another 5 years. In the late 80s I was hired as the production manager for a brand new UHF television station licensed to Rogers State College in Claremore, Oklahoma. During my 10 year tenure there, I also taught television production classes. In 1996, I was hired by USD 262 in Valley Center, Kansas as their technology director. I managed 10 networks and 800 computers for the district for 7 years. I then went on to work for a local audio visual business. I helped in both the sales and installation departments there. I also worked with many of my current colleagues at Christian Dimension Computers where I built and repaired computers. I enjoy a similar role now at The Technology Specialists. I look forward to going to work every day and problem solving computer issues for our business and residential clients. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in a challenging, ever-changing field that captured my interest many years ago.
